STAYMEMORY
Privacy Policy
Version 2026-09-24
1. This policy and contact details
This policy explains how information is processed when you use StayMemory. It is not blanket authorization for undisclosed uses. For privacy questions or rights requests, contact contact@staymemory.com.
2. Information and purposes
Authentication processes email, identity identifiers, code-verification data and session credentials; Google sign-in uses authorized basic profile information, and phone sign-in uses your number only when enabled and selected. Profiles use submitted names and biographies. Recording and learning use text, file metadata, folders, versions, knowledge points and review records. AI uses conversations, relevant materials, queries, sources and recovery records. Energy management uses plans, cycles and model usage. Security uses necessary network addresses, request status and diagnostics. Devices retain session data and preferences. Feedback, where offered, processes submitted text, contact details and images; redact unnecessary sensitive details. We do not collect payment-card details.
3. Necessity and legal grounds
Each activity requires a lawful basis under applicable law, such as processing necessary for a requested contract, legal duties or valid consent. Where EU or UK rules apply, necessary security processing may require a legitimate-interest assessment; that basis cannot simply be imported into mainland Chinese law. Refusing unnecessary information should not disable unrelated features. Consent-based processing can be withdrawn. Sensitive or cross-border processing requiring separate consent needs a separate explanation and action.
4. AI and third parties
Questions, research and knowledge generation send necessary content to model or search providers. This may include relevant prior conversations, source excerpts and tool results, not just the last message. Research sends search terms and fetches source websites; external pages you open follow their own rules. Relevant features use Google identity verification, Resend email, and SMS, model and storage services. Third-party processing depends on the feature and applicable provider terms. Using StayMemory is not a guarantee of zero retention, no training or no human access by third parties. Contact us about the relevant recipients and processing arrangements. Do not submit unauthorized content or unnecessary sensitive personal data.
5. Locations and transfers
Processing needed to provide the service may involve different countries or regions, including locations used by model, email, identity and storage services. Actual recipients, processing locations and applicable safeguards should be transparently disclosed; contact us for details. Transfers requiring separate consent need a separate notice and consent. Accepting this policy alone does not replace those measures.
6. Retention and deletion
Individual content is soft-deleted, removed from ordinary access without immediately erasing history and related records. Account closure separately cleans business data and files while necessary closure and security records remain; provider copies and backups require separate handling. Session or code expiry is not physical deletion of related records, and uninstalling does not delete server data. Contact us about retention and cleanup arrangements or to request erasure under applicable law. We do not promise immediate deletion of every copy.
7. Security and permissions
Risk-appropriate access, transport and credential safeguards are used, without a guarantee of absolute security. Selecting a file does not authorize reading every device file. Mobile sessions use system secure storage. New permissions require explanations at the relevant feature; preference storage does not authorize advertising tracking. Security incidents will be handled and notified as required.
8. Your rights
Use available controls or contact@staymemory.com for access, copies, correction, erasure, consent withdrawal or account closure. Restriction, objection and portability may also apply. Verification must be necessary and proportionate; applicable response deadlines, reasons for lawful extension or refusal, and remedies apply. You may complain to competent regulators without unlawful discrimination for exercising rights. StayMemory closure does not delete Google accounts or all third-party authorizations.
9. Adults and updates
The service is for users aged at least 18 who have reached local majority. Contact us about ineligible minors’ data; an age declaration does not remove legal protection duties. Material updates will be notified and fresh or separate consent obtained when required.
