The value of knowledge,
lies in the moment
you can recall it.

You might be wondering.

What is staymemory good for learning?

It's suited to the knowledge you want to truly understand and hope to still recall later: an unfamiliar concept, the principles behind a technology, or an important idea you came across while reading. You can start your research with a question, or start from your own materials and then use the content you've understood to practice recall and review.

How is it different from asking an AI directly?

With staymemory, learning continues after you get an answer. Research results are saved as materials with sources and distilled into knowledge points you can practice recalling. You try to answer first, then check the answer, and the system schedules later reviews based on how your recall went — connecting a single question to the learning that follows.

Can I learn using my own notes and materials?

Yes. You can record or import materials you already have and distill knowledge points from them; you can also select passages from the original text and turn the parts you want to remember into knowledge points. Questions and answers stay linked to the original text, so during review you can go back to the source to check them, and you can edit or archive them as needed.

What if there's something in the research report I don't understand?

You can keep asking follow-up questions about this material, or select a passage of the original text and ask staymemory to explain it in context. The citations in the report help you find the relevant sources and look further into the original materials. Clear up your questions first, then move on to recall practice.

Do I need to schedule the next review myself?

No, you don't have to set times item by item. As you study, first try to recall, then show the answer, and give feedback on how well you remembered it this time. staymemory schedules your next review based on that, and anything due appears in "Today." If you didn't recall something, give honest feedback — there's no need to choose "Recalled" just to finish the exercise.

Does using staymemory cost money?

Reviewing existing knowledge points is completely free and doesn't use any compute quota. Deep research uses compute, but a free quota is provided every week — enough for the research needs of everyday learning. You can start with the free quota and keep exploring the questions that interest you.
